Job Title: Platform Architect.

A key member of our organization, the Platform Architect is responsible for the effective design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of a scalable, performant, secure, and business-aligned data platform. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of the platform, provide essential support to cross-functional teams, and drive strategic initiatives that enhance business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive data architecture that supports business objectives.
  • Provision and configure data platforms, including clusters, pools, and jobs.
  • Create and manage catalogs, schemas, access controls, and lineage configurations.
  • Implement identity and access management using account groups, workspace-level permissions, and data-level governance.
  • Monitor platform health, cluster utilization, job performance, and cost using admin tools and observability dashboards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in designing and implementing data architectures.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including Databricks.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools and observability dashboards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
