High Performance Computing Specialist

As a High Performance Computing specialist, you will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting high-performance computing environments.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in assessing current infrastructure requirements and designing solutions to meet business needs. This includes expertise in CPU, GPU, middleware, orchestration tools, PFS, NFS configuration and management, libraries, compilers installation and configuration, deployment and management of monitoring and observability tools, network management, and troubleshooting.

  • Assessment of Current Infrastructure Requirements and Future Growth
  • Design, Deploy, and Support AI Infrastructure to Suit Business Requirements, Including CPU, GPU, Middleware, and Orchestration Tools
  • PFS, NFS Configuration and Management
  • Libraries, Compilers Installation & Configuration
  • Deployment and Management of Monitoring & Observability Tools for AI Clusters
  • Network Management & Troubleshooting of InfiniBand, ROCE Switches, UFM, NETQ, & Tools
  • Nvidia GPU Management, Cuda Toolkit Support
  • Knowledge in Cloud Infrastructure Management (AWS/GCP)
  • Cloud Bursting Techniques
  • Kubernetes Installation & Configuration

Key skills include:

  • Operating Systems: Linux (RHEL, CentOS, SuSE)
  • Languages: C, C++, Bash, Python
  • Schedulers & Resource Management: PBS, SLURM, Grid Engine, LSF
  • Cluster Management: xCAT, Bright Cluster Manager, War Wolf
  • Monitoring: Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix, Ganglia
  • Compilers & Libraries: GNU, Intel, OpenMPI, Cuda, MPI
  • Networking: InfiniBand/ROCE/UFM/Ethernet/DPU

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
