A forward-thinking organization is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (Linux Expert) to join our Cloud Infrastructure Engineering division in Bangalore. This role ensures the continuous availability of our technologies and systems, directly responsible for thousands of servers, petabytes of storage, and handling thousands of web requests per second while sustaining growth at an exceptional rate.

Job Requirements:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in infrastructure administration and SRE roles.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Linux systems build, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience managing on-premise infrastructure (physical and virtual).
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools like Puppet.
  • Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Ruby, Ansible).
  • Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform preferred).
  • Understanding of SRE and DevOps principles.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and visualization tools.
  • AWS knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administer and support Linux-based on-prem infrastructure, including physical and virtual environments.
  2. Apply resilience engineering principles to ensure system stability, scalability, and security.
  3. Develop automated solutions to reduce manual effort and improve system reliability.
  4. Design and implement services aligned with Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.
  6. Monitor system performance and drive visibility through telemetry and observability.
