Strategic Data Science Leader

We are seeking a highly accomplished and experienced Strategic Data Science Leader to spearhead our data science initiatives.

This individual will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by developing and implementing advanced analytics solutions, leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to transform complex challenges into actionable insights.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare data and the ability to leverage it to build algorithms that personalize treatments based on clinical and behavioral history. Additionally, they will have experience in developing and leading AI initiatives to improve patient health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and lead the development of various AI initiatives to enhance patient health and wellness
  • Collaborate with business leaders and customers to understand their pain-points and develop large-scale solutions
  • Define technical architecture to productize machine-learning algorithms and deploy them in market
  • Break down complex business problems into machine learning problems and design solution workflows
  • Work with our data platform and applications team to integrate data science capabilities or algorithms in their products/workflows

Requirements:

  • Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant fields (PhD preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in Data Science, preferably in healthcare
  • Strong hands-on experience in Python - building enterprise applications
  • Deep experience in classical and new-age NLP techniques - must have trained or fine-tuned a transformer architecture
  • Understanding of new-age fine LLM tuning techniques like PEFT - experience with LoRA and QLoRA preferred
  • Hands-on experience with GenAI tools and techniques including RAG, VectorDBs, Agentic AI fundamentals
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following - LangChain, Crew.AI
