Home-Based Occupational Therapy Role

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic occupational therapist to provide home-based therapy sessions for clients. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who values flexibility and autonomy in their work.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting one-on-one occupational therapy sessions at the client's home, assessing their functional needs, and developing personalized therapy goals. They will also create engaging activities to support motor, sensory, and daily living skills, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services in a home environment
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop targeted interventions
  • Create tailored activity programs to promote skill development and independence
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records of client interactions
  • Communicate respectfully and professionally with clients and their families

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (AIOTA certification required)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children with disabilities (preferably in a home-based setting)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a flexible environment

Selection Process:

Candidates selected for interview may be asked to participate in a demonstration session to showcase their skills and approach. This will be a paid opportunity to discuss compensation and terms of engagement.

Compensation:

A competitive per-session rate will be negotiated based on experience and availability, with payments made directly by the organization.
