Job Title: Integration Solutions Developer

We are seeking a skilled developer to join our team as an Integration Solutions Developer. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting integration solutions using IBM Integration Bus (IIB).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, Develop, Test, Deploy Integration Flows: Using IBM Integration Bus (IIB), the successful candidate will design, develop, test, and deploy integration flows that meet business requirements.
  • Develop and Maintain Integration Components: The candidate will develop and maintain message flows, ESQL, JavaCompute nodes, and other integration components.
  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: Collaborate with business analysts and architects to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to middleware and integration components.
  • Perform Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure high-quality integration solutions.
  • Monitor and Optimize Performance: Monitor and optimize the performance of integration solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.
  • Document Procedures: Document design, development, and operational procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and process improvement.
  • Work with Other Middleware Technologies: Work with other middleware technologies and tools as needed (e.g., MQ, REST/SOAP services).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • IIB Development Experience: Proven experience as an IIB developer with hands-on experience in IBM Integration Bus (v9, v10, or later).
  • ESQL, Java, Message Flow Development: Strong knowledge of ESQL, Java, and message flow development.
  • Messaging Concepts: Experience with WebSphere MQ (MQ Series) and messaging concepts.
  • RESTful and SOAP Web Services: Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Middleware Architecture and Integration Patterns: Understanding of middleware architecture and integration patterns.
  • Data Transformation Techniques: Experience with XML, JSON, and related data transformation techniques.
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging: Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex integration issues.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
