Software Architecture Role

This position involves leading the migration of legacy services to a container-based microservices model. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the architecture's quality and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Migrating legacy services to a container-based model with development teams.
  • Designing, developing, and refactoring microservices using Kubernetes, Istio, and ingresses.
  • Utilizing message queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka for integration between services.
  • Developing well-structured and performant APIs and databases for microservices.
  • Proposing and implementing software architectures and best practices for development.
  • Staying up-to-date with new technologies and contributing to continuous improvement of architecture and processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • A university background in computer science or a related engineering field.
  • Outstanding technical leadership with experience in high-performant scalable microservices development.
  • The ability to guide and support other developers.
  • Innovative thinking aligned with new product development technologies and methods.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.
  • Proven capabilities working with worldwide teams.
Technical Competencies & Experience:
  • 8-10 years of experience in IT and/or digital companies developing microservices.
  • Excellent understanding of programming languages such as Python or Java.
  • Expertise in designing, analyzing, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.
  • The ability to define modern software architectures with proper documentation.
  • A deep understanding of software engineering best practices, including Agile methodologies, CI/CD, testing, and code quality standards.
