Our ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Establishing strong client relationships
  • Managing media coordination, developing media briefs for campaigns and candidates, documenting media feedback structures, and creating a solid media network
  • Setting a media narrative and agenda for public debate on politics
  • Extensive reach-out to journalists at state/national level for media coordination and interactions
  • Building a media landscape understanding, developing and maintaining a healthy network with the media at national, state, district level; representing the organisation or client confidently yet humbly and professionally
  • Regular participation in identifying key narrative points and producing content for social and digital media channels
  • Developing narrative and communication goals, objectives, and plans to drive overall media strategy
  • Delivering accurate, timely, creative, and engaging inputs that positively impact mainstream media narrative
  • Measuring and presenting results of media narrative shaping efforts

Skill Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of work experience in a media/related industry
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mass Communication/Journalism/PR/Media Management/Relevant field of social sciences
  • Proficient in media structures, political structures, and current affairs
  • Ability to prioritise and organise daily work, demonstrate initiative, ensure efficient collaboration within the team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Telugu is highly desirable
