Job Overview

The role of Digital Transformation Lead is pivotal in driving the digital agenda across VW Group Digital Solutions entities.

This position entails leading a robust data lake infrastructure development and embedding AI-enabled applications across all IT functional departments to enhance operational efficiency.

About The Position

As the Head of Digital IT, you will be responsible for anchoring the execution of a 3-year digital transformation roadmap ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide strategic priorities.

You will drive enterprise data initiatives including the development and scaling of data lake infrastructure, lead budget management and strategic planning for the Digital IT Team and oversee investment allocations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Anchors the execution of a 3-year digital transformation roadmap ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide strategic priorities.
  2. Drives enterprise data initiatives including the development and scaling of data lake infrastructure.
  3. Leads cross-functional collaboration to anchor digitalization and tooling strategies from pilot phases to full-scale development and support.
  4. Establishes success metrics for Digitalization projects and reports insights to senior leadership.
  5. Leads technology initiatives by overseeing the delivery of COTS and custom IT solutions.
Requirements

Candidates must have experience in digital transformation, data-driven decision making, and technical expertise in AI and Cloud technologies.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required. Proficiency in Agile methodologies and design thinking is essential.
