About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Architect for Embedded Systems to lead our software development team. As a key member of our organization, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver high-quality products.

Your Responsibilities

  • Elaborate product/system specifications in collaboration with the Product Architect/System Engineering Manager
  • Define software architecture and ensure the feasibility of solutions
  • Select appropriate software tools, methodologies, and coding strategies
  • Perform software integration and testing
  • Lead the team towards successful project delivery
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the software domain

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Engineering – IT, CS, ECE, EEE, or equivalent
  • Experience or understanding of embedded systems and software development
  • Knowledge of multi-threading, IPC, and complex distributed systems
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP and computer buses
  • A certification in CENELEC SIL4 / DO178A / DO178B is advantageous
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in managing complex software projects
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams
