About This Role

As a Senior 2D Artist, you will be responsible for designing and illustrating visually engaging 2D characters, backgrounds, props, clothing, and other visual assets for mobile games.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and illustrate high-quality 2D characters tailored for mobile gaming platforms.
  • Create visually appealing 2D backgrounds, props, clothing, and additional game art assets.
  • Work within a structured production pipeline to ensure timely and efficient creation of production-ready art.
  • Export and assemble final assets from source files following technical guidelines and file specifications.
  • Stay up-to-date with new tools, techniques, and artistic workflows.
  • Ensure visual consistency by matching established styles and identifying deviations.
  • Integrate and test assets in Unity to guarantee seamless in-game performance.
  • Regularly play our games to assess aesthetics, user experience, and gameplay flow.
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback on visual and gameplay enhancements based on playtesting.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in the gaming or animation industry, with a focus on mobile game development.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop with advanced 2D character illustration skills.
  • Experience creating 2D characters, backgrounds, props, clothing, and other visual assets for mobile games.
  • Able to follow and contribute to a structured production pipeline ensuring efficient asset delivery.
  • Skilled in exporting and assembling images from art files according to technical parameters.
  • Quick to learn and apply new technical skills and workflows.
  • Strong aesthetic sense with a solid foundation in graphic design principles.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining thorough working habits.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced production environments and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Passionate about mobile gaming with hands-on experience designing and producing art specifically for mobile game titles.
