Video Editor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Video Editor to collaborate with our team in developing video and digital concepts.

Your role will be pivotal in creating engaging storyboards, scripts, and content that showcase the power of math and STEM education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop creative strategies and media design ideas in collaboration with our team.
  • Create storyboards and scripts alongside content writers.
  • Edit raw camera footage, virtual meeting recordings, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects to produce high-quality videos.
  • Assemble recorded material into finished products ready for broadcasting.
  • Stay up-to-date with new content trends and technologies to maintain cutting-edge output.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in fine arts, multimedia production, journalism, or related field with technical training in video and digital design.
  • 0-4 years of work experience in video editing or production roles.
  • Strong knowledge of post-production processes and proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Experience in short-form storytelling and ability to manage production for still and video recording.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and strong teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivation, proactiveness, and attention to detail are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in camera operation, OBS, and AI-driven workflows is a plus.
