As a key member of an Agile team, the Product Visionary plays a vital role in shaping product development and delivery.
This position is responsible for translating business strategy and customer needs into actionable product requirements, managing the product backlog, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
The Product Visionary ensures the right product is built at the right time to deliver maximum value by defining and communicating product vision and strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
- Define and communicate product vision and strategy to drive product development.
- Own and manage the product backlog across multiple Agile teams, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and alignment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and synthesize customer insights, market trends, and business needs.
- Write clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Draft technical documentation, including internal and customer-facing API docs.
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Monitor product performance and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery.
This role requires strong strategic thinking, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and proven leadership experience in Agile team environments.
Key qualifications include:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in product ownership or related roles.
- Technical fluency and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and backlog management.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Agile platforms.
Mandatory technical skills include SQL & Snowflake (Intermediate competency), Postman, JSON, XML, XSLT (Intermediate competency), API documentation experience, and strong understanding of data integration workflows.
Good-to-have skills include working knowledge of Power BI and/or Tableau and familiarity with insurance industry trends and customer needs.
Prior experience in the Insurance domain is strongly preferred.
