**Solution Architect for SAP ILM Strategy Development and Implementation**

The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) strategies across complex SAP landscapes.

  • Lead the design and implementation of retention management strategies, including legal hold, case management, and blocking.
  • Execute system decommissioning projects to ensure compliance with data retention and audit requirements.
  • Analyze and mitigate the impact of archiving on business processes and system performance.
  • Implement standard and custom archive objects, including purging and hybrid solutions for technical and staging tables.
  • Manage metadata and ADK file handling to ensure integrity and accessibility.
  • Conduct system assessments to identify DVM opportunities and define archiving strategies.
  • Troubleshoot archiving issues and provide solutions for open item closures.
  • Integrate nearline storage with archive servers and SAP systems, including administration and support.
  • Utilize PBS tools such as NAA, Archive Add-on, and Content Link for enhanced archiving capabilities.
  • Prior experience with SAP ILM legal hold, case management, and ILM blocking in S/4HANA environments is required.
  • Good experience in Data Volume Management (DVM) is necessary, including at least one year in an S/4HANA environment.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Familiarity with RISE clean core methodology is beneficial.
  • Experience integrating SAP with external content and archive servers is advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience with document archiving scenarios and content server migrations is desirable.
  • Familiarity with SAP Native Storage Extension (NSE) and data aging strategies is helpful.
