Cloud Development Leader

Job Summary

We seek a seasoned cloud development leader to spearhead our cloud-native application development initiatives. This is a strategic role that requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and mentor development teams in designing and implementing cloud-native applications using Azure PaaS.
  2. Develop Single Page Applications (SPAs) and dynamic web applications using React.js, Redux, and modern JavaScript UI libraries.
  3. Build and deploy serverless back-end routines using Azure Functions.
  4. Design and orchestrate RESTful APIs adhering to REST v3 standards, and manage them via Azure API Management.
  5. Collaborate with DevOps teams for deploying and monitoring apps in Azure environments.
  6. Ensure scalability, security, and performance of cloud-native applications.
  7. Conduct code reviews, ensure coding best practices, and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Azure Cloud Native (PaaS) services.
  • Expertise in Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and serverless architecture.
  • Strong front-end development skills using JavaScript/TypeScript, especially with React.js and Redux ecosystem.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python (v3.8+) with object-oriented design and reusable module development.
  • Deep understanding of REST API design, API integration, and Azure API Management.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and automated deployments in Azure.

Leadership & Collaboration:

  1. 3+ years of experience in leading development teams and managing cloud projects.
  2. Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with architects, QA, DevOps, and business teams.
  3. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
