Network Engineer Job Opportunity

This role involves creating and improving network services and solutions to ensure the best experience for employees and contractors.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of enterprise networking, with a focus on wireless, SD-WAN, and LAN infrastructure.

  • Key responsibilities include designing, engineering, implementing, and optimizing networks, managing network service and circuit capacity, planning and delivering projects, change planning, and governing third-party service providers.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in enterprise wireless protocols, RF site surveys, and security best practices, as well as hands-on experience with platforms such as Mist AI, Cisco Wireless, or equivalent.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have strong understanding and implementation experience with Fabric-based LAN architectures, proficiency in Layer 2/3 networking concepts, and skilled in network monitoring, diagnostics, and performance tools.

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in enterprise networking, with a focus on wireless, SD-WAN, and LAN infrastructure.
  • Expertise in enterprise wireless protocols, RF site surveys, and security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Mist AI, Cisco Wireless, or equivalent.
  • Proven hands-on experience with SD-WAN (Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding and implementation experience with Fabric-based LAN architectures.
  • Proficient in Layer 2/3 networking concepts.
  • Skilled in network monitoring, diagnostics, and performance tools.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with telco and ISP networks.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to lead network design and implementation projects independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work non-standard hours during change implementations and service restoration efforts
