The primary objective of this role is to ensure the seamless operation and optimal performance of a company's network infrastructure. Key responsibilities include upgrading network devices, configuring security protocols, and maintaining maximum network efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Upgrade network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls to enhance their functionality and compatibility.
- Configure security protocols including IPS, WAN Optimizer, and VPN to safeguard the network against potential threats.
- Install, configure, and maintain various network devices and services to ensure uninterrupted connectivity.
- Perform routine network maintenance and system upgrades to prevent downtime and optimize performance.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problems and outages to minimize disruption to business operations.
- Schedule upgrades and collaborate with network architects on network optimization strategies to improve overall network efficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong hands-on experience with routing, switching, and security devices to effectively manage and maintain network infrastructure.
- Experience working with industry-standard devices and technologies like Cisco, Aruba, and Juniper to ensure interoperability and compatibility.
- Good communication skills and awareness of ITIL knowledge to facilitate effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- CCNP voice or wireless certification to demonstrate advanced expertise in network administration.
- Routing and Switching TCP IPv4 IPv6 protocols DNS DHCP SNMP VLAN VPN MPLS to administer and manage network infrastructure.
- Cisco Wireless LAN controller autonomous and lightweight access point DHCP configuration upgrade procedures of WLC to optimize wireless network performance.
- Configuration of SSID layer 3 authentication method guest access and web authentication to secure wireless network access.
