About This Role:

We are seeking a skilled Territory Sales Officer to join our team. As a Territory Sales Officer, you will be responsible for managing and expanding sales in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective sales strategies and relationship building.
  • Develop and implement territory-specific sales plans to maximize market coverage and product placement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and distributors to ensure product availability and visibility.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our products to assist retailers and address customer inquiries effectively.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Ensure proper stock levels with distributors and retailers, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional activities and marketing campaigns at the local level.
  • Provide regular sales reports, including market insights and sales data analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience of 1-2 years in sales, preferably in the FMCG sector, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using sales and reporting tools.
  • Willingsness to travel within the assigned territory.
