About the Position

We are creating a mobile application to help manage and monitor livestock efficiently. As a Mobile Engineer, you will collaborate with our team to develop the app's front-end interfaces, design the UX, and implement features that meet the requirements of our farming partners.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with our product team and farming partners to understand their work and build an app that meets their needs.
  • Maintain high engineering and coding standards.
  • Design and implement the product's mobile app features, including user experience and interface guidelines for Apple and Android apps.
  • Work with various aspects of the map feature, create virtual polygons, annotate points of interest, generate heat maps, and integrate APIs to view livestock on the map.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in building mobile apps using React Native.
  • Proficiency in the TypeScript ecosystem, including monorepos.
  • Thorough understanding of interface guidelines for Apple and Android apps.
  • Ability to debug and optimize complex systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with our mapping libraries in React Native or Native frameworks.
  • Understanding of the native iOS and Android ecosystems.
  • Good knowledge of UX best practices for SaaS-based interfaces and AI.
  • Contributed to open-source projects.
