Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Architect to design and implement robust security solutions for our clients.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, building, testing, and implementing network security systems within an organisation's IT network.

They should possess a thorough understanding of complex IT systems and stay up-to-date with the latest security standards, systems, and authentication protocols.

A strong background in security engineering and architecture assessments is required.

The successful candidate will also have hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, NAC, SDWAN, WAF, Proxy, EDR/XDR, and other major network security devices.

Responsibilities

The Cyber Security Architect will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing secure network architectures
  • Evaluating and selecting security technologies
  • Developing and maintaining security policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the business
  • Maintaining awareness of emerging security threats and technologies

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • 12-15 years of experience in Information Technology, with specialization in Cyber Security roles
  • Professional-level knowledge in areas from security engineering and architecture assessments
  • Strong hands-on experience in firewalls, VPNs, NAC, SDWAN, WAF, Proxy, EDR/XDR, and other major network security devices
  • Expert level experience with deployment, maintenance, and operations of one or more major network security Devices
  • Zero Trust Security Strategy and Implementation
  • Cloud Security Architecture
  • Entrepreneurial approach to solving security problems with consultative skills
