Job Title: Cloud Engineering Lead

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our cloud infrastructure. As a seasoned expert in Cloud Engineering, you will have the opportunity to lead the implementation of new systems and develop strategic thinking to drive effectiveness across teams.

  • Implementation Expertise: Participate in the analysis, design, development, and delivery of software solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and scalability.
  • Technical Leadership: Define requirements for new applications and customizations, adhering to industry best practices and company processes.
  • Maintenance and Upgrades: Plan and execute maintenance, upgrades, and migrations activities in different environments as Dev, Stage, and Prod.
  • Infrastructure Design: Design and develop resilient scalable infrastructure that avoids downtime and service interruptions.
  • Vendor Interface: Interface with external logging, monitoring, and security vendors to ensure seamless integration.
  • Infra as Code: Build out infrastructure as code, standard system images, and application images in Docker.
Requirements
  • Leadership Skills: Manage medium-sized project/initiatives as an individual contributor or formally supervise a small team.
  • Technical Expertise: Design and develop applications, system-to-system interfaces, and complete software solutions.
  • Collaboration: Oversee and provide technical support to junior team members.
  • Cloud Experience: Expertise in AWS Cloud, developing solution offerings for new and existing Cloud projects.
  • Kubernetes Experience: Managing large-scale Kubernetes clusters, experience with kops or Rancher or any equivalent provided cluster.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Infrastructure as Code Experience, demonstrate advanced level of programming methodologies used to augment terraform using Python, bash, or Go.
