Cloud Security Engineer

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud infrastructure. Your expertise in designing and implementing secure cloud solutions will be instrumental in protecting our business-critical assets.

Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Solution Development: Develop and maintain Amazon AWS-based cloud solutions using a broad range of AWS services (VPC, EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, AWS CLI, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, AWS Config, Kinesis, Route 53, Dynamo DB, and SNS).
  • Identity and Access Management: Implement identity and access management (IAM) controls to manage user and system access securely.
  • Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate with cloud architects and developers to create security solutions for cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) by designing security controls and ensuring they are integrated into cloud platforms and by ensuring that cloud infrastructure adheres to relevant compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
  • Threat Detection and Monitoring: Monitor cloud environments for suspicious activities and threats using tools like SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems.
  • Automation and Infrastructure as Code: Automate cloud security processes using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible, and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure secure deployment and configuration.
  • Secret Management and Data Security: Secure and encrypt data by providing secret management solutions with versioning enabled.
  • Disaster Recovery and Backup Solutions: Build backup solutions for running applications' downtime and maintain a parallelly running disaster recovery environment in the backend and implement Disaster Recovery strategies.
