Electrical Systems Service Manager

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead on-site service activities and ensure the reliability and optimal performance of electrical systems.

About the Role

  • Supervise commissioning, maintenance, and corrective service activities at project sites.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes.
  • Lead on-site troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues in energy storage systems and escalate complex issues when required.
  • Manage subcontractors and service technicians, ensuring they comply with site policies.
  • Act as the primary liaison with customers, contractors, and internal engineering teams.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to onsite teams, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration.
  • Attend meetings and relay information to staff, subcontractors, and management.
  • Daily reporting of all site activities to management.
  • Project tracking to ensure project schedule is met.
  • Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure system reliability.
  • Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to reduce system failures.
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety standards and operational best practices.
  • Monitor spare parts usage and coordinate with logistics for replenishment and warranty claims.
  • Provide training and technical guidance to customers and local partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in field service roles, preferably in energy storage, solar, wind, or power electronics.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical standards, safety standards, and renewable energy systems.
  • Proven experience with utility-scale project sites and working with EPCs or IPPs.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and team leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across India and occasionally overseas.
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi for effective liaison.
