About this role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex data models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to extract insights from large datasets.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop tailored data solutions.

• Design and implement scalable data architectures, including data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance.

• Work closely with stakeholders to communicate findings, trends, and recommendations through clear and actionable insights.

Requirements:

  • Strong programming skills in Python and PySpark.
  • Solid understanding of HDFS, Hive, and Spark architecture.
  • Experience with Delta Lake and Apache Iceberg table formats.
  • Proficiency in working with Avro, ORC, and Parquet file formats.
  • Expertise in building scalable ETL workflows and handling large datasets.
  • Familiarity with Hive Metastore, external tables, and partitioning strategies.
  • Knowledge of DML operations over distributed data systems.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with SAS SPDE tables and migration strategies.
  • Exposure to Starburst or Databricks platforms.
  • Understanding of modern data lakehouse architectures and query engines.
