Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Full Stack Developer with extensive knowledge of Ruby on Rails. As part of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust web applications.

Main Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building scalable and efficient code in Ruby on Rails
  • Developing back-end components for web applications, integrating them seamlessly with front-end layers
  • Testing applications for performance, responsiveness, and security, identifying areas for improvement
  • Guiding junior developers in coding best practices, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Integrating data storage and data processing solutions, leveraging expertise in database management
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Ruby on Rails
  • Expertise in configuring and deploying multiple rails applications, with a deep understanding of software design and architecture
  • Experience working in collaborative code development environments, including Git, Continuous Integration, and Capistrano
  • Familiarity with database management systems, particularly MySQL and Postgres
  • Exceptional understanding of software design patterns and principles
  • Strong foundation in agile development practices, including test-driven development and scrums
