Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Ruby on Rails Lead to join our team at Vintronics Consulting. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of our Ruby on Rails applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable and efficient Ruby on Rails applications
  • Lead a team of developers in the development and maintenance of our Ruby on Rails applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the industry

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Rails 5.2+ and Ruby 2.5.1+
  • Understanding of building architecture from product requirements
  • Experience in leading teams of developers to maximize performance
  • Knowledge of Multithreading, Thread Pooling, Background Jobs, and Schedule Jobs handling supporting tools and libraries
  • Working on Microservices-based architecture, distributed application patterns, and multiple data source management in the application
  • Must have experience with Linux and Windows-based OS and their command-line tools
  • Must have experience with unit testing frameworks like RSpec and Cucumber
  • Object-oriented development and Metaprogramming
  • Experience in working with SQL Databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL) and No SQL Databases (Cassandra or MongoDB)
  • Knowledge of server configuration management and deployment techniques

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good to have experience in handling DevOps tools like Jenkins and containerization using Docker
  • Experience in working with different AWS cloud services
  • Version control software, preferably Git
