Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering professional to lead our data strategy and drive business growth through innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data technologies, including databases, Hadoop, and data visualization tools. They will be responsible for defining and executing data architecture roadmaps, providing technical leadership, and managing large-scale data programs.

The role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and coordination abilities. The successful candidate will have experience working with globally distributed teams and delivering high-quality solutions.

  • Provide strategic direction and technical leadership in data engineering
  • Define and execute data architecture roadmaps to drive business growth
  • Manage large-scale data programs and ensure timely delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven insights into business decisions

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Databases (Relational, NoSQL, MPP, Columnar)
  • Hadoop Ecosystem (Cloudera, HortonWorks)
  • Data Visualization Tools (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Programming Languages (Java, Scala, JavaScript)

Business Acumen:

  • Understanding of data-driven marketing and customer experience
  • Experience working with agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of cloud computing and social media technologies

Personal Qualities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team
