Data Centre Operations Manager

As a Data Centre Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of a data centre. This includes managing floor space, air conditioning systems, power installations, and vendor relationships.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Expected to be an SME (Subject Matter Expert).
  • Collaborate and manage the team to perform optimally.
  • Responsible for making strategic decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decision-making processes.
  • Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance data centre efficiency and reliability.
  • Monitor and report on data centre performance metrics to ensure service level agreements are met.
Key Requirements
  • Must have proficiency in Microsoft Azure IaaS.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of data centre operations and management principles.
  • Showcase experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
  • Exhibit knowledge of power and cooling systems in data centres.
  • Familiarity with disaster recovery and business continuity planning is essential.
