Factory Logistics Operations Manager Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled logistics professional to lead our factory operations and drive efficiency in our design and development process.

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, assembly materials, PPEs, and consumables in the shopfloor as per production plan requirements.
  • Ensure timely issue of materials from warehouses to production using materials handling equipment such as RGVs, AGVs, Forklifts, BOPTs, HOPTs, Stalkers, and Conveyors.
  • Allocate personnel for tasks including kitting/de-palletizing, palletising/packing, material issues, internal scrap movement, and stock reconciliation.
  • Implement measures to achieve zero stock variance through stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as production planning, process, maintenance, quality, IT contractors, and SCM to ensure business requirements are fulfilled.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee delivery of required materials to production at the right time and place.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prevent production stoppages due to non-availability of materials.
  • Train personnel to use related equipment for efficient execution.
