Lab Technician plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care by conducting accurate lab tests, analyzing results, and maintaining laboratory equipment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform various lab tests such as blood counts, urinalyses, and chemistry panels to diagnose diseases.
  • Analyze test results to identify trends, patterns, and abnormalities, making recommendations for further testing or treatment as needed.
  • Maintain lab equipment, instruments, and supplies to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Document all test results, findings, and actions taken in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in quality control activities, including proficiency testing, to ensure compliance with established standards and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
