Cloud Security Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Security professional with extensive experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to lead our cloud security initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of cloud infrastructure and architecture, along with expertise in deploying, managing, and optimizing AWS services.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement secure cloud solutions using a broad range of AWS services such as VPC, EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, AWS CLI, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, AWS Config, Kinesis, Route 53, Dynamo DB, and SNS.
- Develop and enforce identity and access management (IAM) controls to ensure secure user and system access.
- Collaborate with cloud architects and developers to create innovative security solutions for cloud environments by designing security controls and ensuring they are integrated into cloud platforms.
- Monitor cloud environments for suspicious activities and threats using tools like SIEM systems. Implement security governance policies and maintain audit logs for regulatory compliance.
- Automate cloud security processes using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure secure deployment and configuration.
- Work closely with DevOps, network, and software development teams to promote secure cloud practices and educate employees about cloud security best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and others.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance standards in cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
