Video Editor Job Description

We are seeking a talented video editor to lead the creation of engaging content. Our dynamic strategy captures the essence of adventure and community, significantly enhancing our brand presence.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Edit raw footage into polished videos using creative editing techniques
  • Apply transitions, color grading, motion graphics, text animations, and sound design to elevate storytelling
  • Collaborate with content creators and social media teams to deliver timely content
  • Optimize videos for various social media formats and aspect ratios to maximize engagement
  • Manage and maintain an organized library of video assets
  • Stay current with digital video trends and social media platform algorithms

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Film Production, Media, or related field
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in video editing
  • Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro
  • Demonstrated ability in visual storytelling and pacing to deliver impactful content
  • Understanding of video optimisation strategies for different social media platforms
