Job Description

A medical specialist is required to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for examining patients, making diagnoses, and determining the need for surgical procedures.

  • Examine patients and make diagnoses to determine the need for surgery.
  • Review patients' medical history and plan the best course of treatment.
  • Evaluate and advise patients on the risks involved with surgery.

The specialist will be responsible for performing various tasks, including:

  1. Performing surgical procedures to prevent or correct injuries, diseases, deformities, and patient function while adhering to regulatory and ethical protocols.
  2. Following established surgical techniques during surgery.
  3. Prescribing preoperative and postoperative treatments and procedures.
  4. Ensuring sterility in the operating room and all equipment and instruments.
  5. Directing and coordinating activities of hospital staff for proper patient care.
  6. Overseeing all treatments prior to and post-surgery, and identifying associated risks.
  7. Maintaining the highest regard for patient dignity and observing the precepts of the American Hospital Associations Bill of Rights for patients.
  8. Planning and executing disease/illness prevention and health promotion programs.
  9. Coordinating follow-up meetings with patients and monitoring their health condition after surgery or treatment.
  10. Conducting research to develop and test surgical techniques in order to improve procedures and surgery.
