We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our dynamic R&D group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing our company's enablement platform, which delivers media experiences across the world in real-time.

Key to success lies in integrating with video and audio live/VOD assets, personalized processing, and distribution. As a seasoned engineer, you will:

  • Plan, design, and develop our company's platform.
  • Maintain and improve existing infrastructure, tools, and workflows.
  • Ensure quality software delivery through automated component testing, E2E testing, and performance testing.
  • Explore and recommend innovative approaches to improve platform performance and scalability.

To excel in this fast-paced development process, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering from a leading university.
  • No less than 8 years of experience as a software/backend engineer in Python.
  • A strong understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases, leveraging data modelling solution for scalability and performance.
  • Strong experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
  • Expertise in microservices architecture, including REST APIs and message queues.
  • A collaborative mindset and fluent written and verbal communication.

Better yet if you have:

  • Experience in CI/CD environments (e.g., GHA, Jenkins).
  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code development (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
