Job Description

Our team is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer who can deliver high-quality integrated data assets that support analytical models and visualizations.

This role requires someone with an analytical mind who can think at scale and consider the needs of analysts and data scientists.

The successful candidate will have top-notch technical skills, strong analytics exposure, and a deep understanding of customer journeys to drive decisions throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Gather and transform large sets of raw data into well-built integrated data assets using SQL, AWS Glue, or other emerging technologies.
  2. Recommend, build, and monitor robust and extensible data models that capture business performance from a customer experience lens.
  3. Identify and execute data quality testing along critical check points and surface data drift or data anomalies.
  4. Maintain a high standard for accuracy of data and build automated processes to catch issues proactively.
  5. Be the expert in critical customer experience data assets and maintain a catalog for reference.
  6. Lean into developing visualizations in Tableau and occasionally support data science teams with exploratory data analysis and KPI development.
  7. Validate and performance-tune complex SQL queries.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or engineering.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in data-driven solutions.
  • Expertise in writing advanced SQL queries with strong experience in Python (NumPy & Pandas) and EDA/data processing tools such as AWS Glue, S3, or Redshift.
  • Proficiency with Tableau or Power BI for advanced visualization.
Preferred Qualifications

If you have:

  • Working knowledge of statistical/machine learning tools (e.g., scikit-learn).
  • Prior experience with Delta or other airline/Hospitality data.
  • Understanding Gen AI.
