Job Title:

Accounting Professional for Accounts Payable

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team in handling Accounts Payable processes. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to AP processes, including invoice processing, vendor queries, vendor setups/maintenance, invoice exception resolution, invoice reconciliation, payment proposal generation, and payment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform day-to-day AP activities with required speed and accuracy
  • Familiarity with client processes and ability to follow documented procedures
  • Strong analytical & interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of relevant F&A Processes
  • Strong customer orientation and problem-solving skills
Requirements:
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Hands-on working knowledge of SAP
  • Minimum 15 years of education with 2+ years of prior work experience in AP processes
Domain Expertise:
  • Finance and Accounting
Skills:
  • PTP/RTR/OTC
Mandatory Pointers:
  • Education: Only commerce graduates (BCom/BBA/MBA/MCom)
  • Experience: 1 to 5 years

  • Candidates are expected to prepare for topics such as Classification of Accounting, Key Accounting Concepts, Fundamental Accounting Assumptions, Accounting Policies, Types of Accounts, Double Entry system, Journal Entries, Posting to Ledger, Preparation of Trial Balance, Subsidiary Books, Rectification of Errors, Adjusting Entries, Bank & Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, Inventory Valuation, Fixed Assets, Depreciation, Sale of assets, and Preparation of Financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash flow)
