Culinary Technician

Assuming a key role in our kitchen operations, the culinary technician plays a vital part in ensuring seamless facility management. We are seeking an experienced professional with outstanding technical skills to join our team.

About the Position:

• Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Identify potential maintenance risks on equipment and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Clean, adjust, and repair systems, and perform warranty services.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Provide technical guidance and training.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance functions.
• Ensure adherence to appliance standards and occupational health and safety regulations.
• Comply with service standards and customer requirements.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Three years of experience as a culinary technician and a willingness to pursue education in engineering.
• A deep understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
• Excellent soldering and brazing skills using oxygen propane.
• Thorough knowledge of various kitchen and refrigeration equipment types.
• A strong ability to prioritize tasks for enhanced job delivery.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills to investigate food equipment issues and correct them.
