Job Summary

A highly skilled Digital Operations Specialist is responsible for providing end-to-end support and administration to business and web applications. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations, resolve technical issues, and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Provide round-the-clock production and operations support for business and web applications.
  • Administer applications in cloud environments such as AWS/Azure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Develop expertise in Web Server Knowledge - IIS, Apache web server, and develop strong scripting skills using power shell.
  • Understand common network protocols (HTTP, FTP) and SSL, along with knowledge of debugging network-related issues using various available tools like Wireshark.
  • Develop excellent debugging and problem-solving skills, ensuring prompt resolution of application issues.
  • Support ASP/.Net based applications (custom developed and off-the-shelf systems), ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Ensure application security, performing regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  • Fine-tune applications for any performance issues, implementing optimization strategies for improved user experience.
  • Deploy applications automatically using CI/CD methodology, ensuring efficient release management.
  • Implement monitoring systems and monitoring methodology, providing real-time insights into application performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, with about five years of solid experience in application support administration.
  • Excellent technical understanding of n-Tiered Microsoft platforms and application architectures.
  • Strong work experience in supporting ASP/.Net based applications (custom developed and off-the-shelf systems).
  • Thorough understanding of monitoring systems and monitoring methodology.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
