Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Architect to design and implement next-generation analytics platforms in the Microsoft ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Platform Design: Design and implement scalable Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and analytics solutions in Microsoft Fabric.
  • Data Pipeline Development: Build and optimize data pipelines, transformations, and storage using Dataflows, Pipelines, Spark, and Delta Lake.
  • Technical Solutions: Translate business needs into technical solutions and drive ingestion-to-insight workflows.
  • Infrastructure Management: Establish CI/CD and IaC practices with Azure DevOps, ARM, or Terraform.
  • Data Governance: Ensure governance, security, and compliance through Purview integration.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Fabric workloads.
  • Tech Leadership: Stay ahead of new Fabric capabilities and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
  • Experience: 8-12 years in data engineering, architecture, or analytics.
  • Microsoft Fabric Expertise: 2-3 years hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Programming Skills: Strong skills in SQL, Python, or PySpark.
  • Azure Services: Solid experience with Microsoft Azure services.
  • IaC Tools: Familiarity with IaC tools (ARM/Terraform) and data governance practices.
  • Nice to Have: Power BI, Azure Databricks, or ML/AI exposure.
Preferred Attributes
  • Lakehouse Design: Strong understanding of Lakehouse and unified analytics design.
  • Pipeline Development: Ability to build both batch and real-time pipelines.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communicator and collaborator.
  • Adaptability: Adaptive and proactive in fast-evolving tech landscapes.
