Linux System Administration Position

We are seeking an experienced Linux system administrator to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years' experience managing Linux operating systems and possess strong technical skills in Linux administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Linux operating systems (RedHat 6/7/8, CentOS)
  • Perform general Unix/Linux administration tasks such as building and configuring VMs, software package installation, account maintenance, file permissions, system tuning
  • Develop and implement Shell scripts for automation
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and manage system services
  • Implement system hardening and security measures
  • Release management and patching
  • Design and implement network architecture using TCP/IP in LAN/WAN environments
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience as a Linux systems administrator or equivalent education or training
  • Degree resulting in an associate or bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and relevant professional certifications
  • Familiar with ITIL and ticketing systems
  • Experience with enterprise systems for monitoring
  • Relevant certifications: RHCSA, RHCE, CCENT, VMware VCP, AWS, Azure
