Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at ProPMO Services Private Limited. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, cloud services, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving our infrastructure, automating processes, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of our applications.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and implement automated deployment pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and Jenkins.
  • Develop and maintain scripts using Python, Bash, and PowerShell to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices into our development lifecycle.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools and technologies to continuously improve our infrastructure and processes.


Technical Skills :

Version Control and CI/CD :

- Proficiency in AWS CodeCommit for source control.

- Experience with Jenkins, CodePipeline, and CodeDeploy for automating builds, tests, and deployments.

Automation and Scripting :

- Strong automation skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment automation.

Cloud Services and Infrastructure :

- In-depth knowledge of AWS services including S3, SQS, SNS, and Load Balancing.

- AWS Certifications are highly desirable.

Messaging and Communication :

- Proficiency with RabbitMQ for message queuing.

Collaboration Tools :

- Experience with GitHub or BitBucket for code repositories and version control.

- Proficiency in JIRA for project management and issue tracking.

Soft Skills :

Problem-Solving :

- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a distributed environment.

Collaboration :

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.

- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and support multiple projects simultaneously.

Adaptability :

- Flexibility to adapt to new tools and technologies in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to quickly learn and implement new automation techniques and tools.

Attention to Detail :

- Keen attention to detail to ensure infrastructure reliability and adherence to best practices.
