Job Title: Supply Chain Optimization Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize customer satisfaction while minimizing costs.

  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies to ensure timely delivery of products and minimize inventory levels.
  • Lead the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Direct and coordinate corporate supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in customer satisfaction.
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate all activities related to sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet changing product demand levels.
  • Collaborate with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers.
  • Work directly with sales department to determine most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.
  • Monitor and correct inventory levels at outside warehouses and internally to ensure rotation and maximize working capital.
  • Collaborate with Production department to determine best practice for minimum inventory with fast production to keep on-time delivery.
  • Support proper utilization of ERP system and keep all processes intact.
  • Member of operations staff, responsible for routinely reporting on department KPIs along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures where necessary.
  • Create company's supply chain strategy.
  • Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues.
  • Evaluate and report on KPIs.
  • Monitor logistics to ensure they run smoothly.
  • Maintain supply chain inventory and records.
  • Train and guide employees.
  • Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes.
  • Resolve issues that come up (e.g., delays in delivery, accidents).
  • Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth.
  • Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of supply chain (e.g., use of trucks, forklifts).
  • Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards.
  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals.
Requirements:

  • The ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time-constrained environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong sense of time organization and urgency.
  • Able to work independently and within a team.
  • Previous experience as a supply chain professional or in a similar field.
  • Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes.
  • Working experience of relevant software (ERP).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Creative problem-solving.
  • A strategic and analytical mind.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar field.
Experience:

A minimum of 3+ years of supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management experience is required.
