Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and coordinate maintenance tasks during shifts, ensuring a prompt and efficient response to any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure compliance with Metro Railway General rules and maintenance standards, prioritizing safety and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to maintain signaling systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collect and transmit technical data related to failures, and supervise and inspect signaling equipment to ensure system operational compliance.
  • Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of technologies and systems, including ATS, ATC, On-Board, and DCS subsystems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in signaling metro rail systems, including interface with other systems like Telecommunication, AMS, SCADA, and Rolling Stock.
  • Manage Contract KPIs to meet contractual requirements with clients, providing clear visibility and adequate documentation.
  • Ensure compatibility with health and safety standards, and resolve technical open issues from investigation to modification implementation and problem closure.
  • Collaborate with clients and consortium representatives for inspections and audits, and perform rigorous inspections and audits on systems covered by maintenance agreements.
  • Respond promptly to system issues, conducting troubleshooting and executing repairs to restore optimal functionality.
  • Update maintenance records and ensure timely closure of service requests in AMS.
  • Report any safety occurrences or incidents to the Maintenance Manager in a timely manner.
Requirements

We are looking for a Graduate Engineer with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in urban rail signaling, with a strong background in roles like Engineering, Testing & Commissioning, or Maintenance. Knowledge of Distance To Go Signaling system and related subsystems like ATC, ATS, Smart Digital Track Circuits, and On-Board Sign systems is a must. Knowledge of CBTC Signaling system is an advantage.

Engineering Graduate with 8-10 years of experience or Diploma in Electronics/Electrical with 14-15 years of experience is mandatory. Candidates who do not meet the above criteria need not apply.
