About the Role

We are seeking a Reliable Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and resilience of our systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on resiliency and chaos engineering. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to identify and eliminate Single Points of Failure (SPOFs) and develop mitigation strategies to enhance system resiliency.

Your expertise in designing and maintaining fault-tolerant architectures, as well as your knowledge of observability, tracing, and telemetry tools, will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failure modes and their impacts.
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to enhance system resiliency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and eliminate SPOFs.
  • Assess and maintain fault-tolerant architectures using redundancy, load balancing, and automated failover.
  • Design and implement monitoring and logging solutions to improve system visibility.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, focusing on resiliency and chaos engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
