Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our team.

  • Provide tax advice to ensure optimum tax benefits for both the employer and employee.
  • Structure assignment policies from a tax and social security perspective.
  • Conduct entry and exit meetings with expatriates / assignees and assist them with local registrations, personal tax returns, and requisite compliances.
  • Assist in advisory and compliance services relating to setting up liaison offices, visa, social security, etc.
  • Understand various tax treaties and apply relevant articles in finalizing personnel tax returns / advisory work.
  • Structure tax efficient compensation packages, including advising on domestic and cross-border employee stock option plans.
  • Assist clients in payroll/withholding tax compliance.
  • Provide visa-related advisory and compliance assistance to employees.
  • Assist with advisory work related to FEMA (applicable to expatriates / individuals).
  • Ensure periodical review of filing/documents from an internal review perspective.
  • Contribute to knowledge management presentations, newspaper articles, etc., in respect of the above subjects.
  • Coach and guide team members.
  • Build good rapport and working relationship with key client contacts.
  • Assist management in risk compliance, internal reporting, and client administration.
