Job Description

The Data Transformation Specialist is required to collaborate with the Global Finance team in understanding their intricate reporting process, underlying needs, and mapping them into a model for facilitating their transformation journey.

The ideal candidate will provide strategic guidance (Blueprint, configuration, programming or workflow) and ensure technical integrity of the delivered solution. They will assist in maintaining compliance, managing costs, and saving time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Functional owner of Finance Data Layer and the representative of Data Analytics team.
  • Conducts data exploration workshop and responsible for creating Business Blueprint/rules that captures manual process and automates them.
  • Responsible for guiding system set up team and technical team. Creates strong alliances with diverse stakeholders from different geographies and ensures everyone is on the same page and communicates effectively.
  • Provides solution to business partner requirements when the requirement exceeds standard template. Decides client data transition and testing strategy. Plays a key role in the success of the transformation process
  • Varied work. Collaborates with global finance teams on data exploration and validation to delivering new model, working with business teams on change management planning or engaging with technical teams in deciding optimal solutions.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of SQL is mandatory.
  • Good listening and communication skills.
  • Inclusive team player able to understand different viewpoints and manage conflict in client organization.
  • Collaborates with teams spread across geography.
  • Ability to take ownership and handle pressure.
  • Understanding of tools and technology.
