Job Title: Network Infrastructure Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to maintain secure, high-performance network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting and configuration skills, thrive in fast-paced environments, and have a passion for network support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain network systems to ensure optimal performance and high availability.
  • Respond promptly to network-related incidents, providing effective solutions to minimize downtime and service disruption.
  • Configure and manage network devices including Cisco routers, switches, F5 load balancers, and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Implement and maintain network security policies to safeguard against unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and threats.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, changes, processes, and procedures.
  • Work closely with cross-functional IT teams to support overall infrastructure and ensure seamless operations.
  • Plan and execute network upgrades, firmware updates, and patches to ensure systems are secure, stable, and up to date.
  • Utilize network monitoring tools to proactively identify issues and generate performance reports.
  • Ensure network operations comply with organizational policies and industry standards.

Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent field of study.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

The following skills are highly desirable:

  • Experience with cloud networking solutions and SDN technologies such as Cisco ACI.
  • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and implementing security policies.
  • Proficiency in managing F5 Load Balancers for high availability and traffic distribution.
  • Knowledge of network automation tools and scripting using Python.
  • Strong understanding of Cisco routing and switching technologies.
  • Familiarity with tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or Wireshark for network monitoring and diagnostics.
  • Solid grasp of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
  • Understanding of network security principles, threat mitigation, and compliance standards.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Cisco ACI DCACI or equivalent.
