Job Description:

This position is focused on designing, developing, and testing new applications while maintaining existing ones. As part of a cross-functional team, you will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for understanding design changes and requirements, soliciting guidance from relevant collaborators, and delivering application features and user stories. Your expertise in software engineering, including coding languages like Java and related frameworks, will enable you to develop scalable software products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop code that meets security and UI best practices.
  • Work with architects, product owners, project managers, QA, and other developers to implement business requirements.
  • Conduct design and code review sessions to ensure quality work standards.
  • Mentor junior developers to achieve timely and high-quality deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

At least 5 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 3 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
  • Experience in developing enterprise-grade software products at scale.
  • Software engineering expertise with coding languages such as Java and related frameworks like SpringBoot.
  • Development experience in building and using Microservices, specifically with HTTP, REST, JSON.
  • Experience with Relational databases and/or NoSQL databases.
  • UI/UX development skills using Angular or equivalent UI platforms.
  • Proficient in GIT/Stash, Maven, Jenkins, etc.
