Cloud Infrastructure Architect

As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the design and implementation of our cloud infrastructure.

About the Role

This position involves overseeing and supporting AWS/Azure cloud environments, operating systems, directory services, and enterprise infrastructure. You will serve as a liaison between Infrastructure and Delivery teams, ensuring global standards, security, and operational excellence are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Manage logical volume management (LVM) and monitor server health.
  • Administer user authorization and access controls.
  • Deploy, manage, and maintain Linux/Windows instances in AWS/Azure.
  • Handle cloud storage solutions – create/attach EBS volumes, partition drives, restore from snapshots.
  • Configure and manage EC2 firewall settings (security groups, rules, restrictions).
  • Automate deployments with AMIs and CloudFormation templates.
  • Migrate AWS instances across different VPCs.
  • Set up and maintain AWS services: RDS, Route 53, ELB/ALB.
  • Implement and manage IAM roles, users, and access policies.
  • Execute server patching, decommissioning, file system and network configurations.
  • Manage Active Directory and LDAP directory services for authentication and access.
Requirements
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux OS administration
  • Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with VMware or other virtualization technologies
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
