Job Overview

The Hird is a leading provider of IT services and solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Administrator to join our team and play a key role in the management and maintenance of our data storage solutions.

As a Storage Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our data storage solutions, including planning, preparing, and executing technical tasks in the ITSM queues to resolve day-to-day BAU / Project Requests and Incidents. You will also respond to and resolve alerts from the monitoring management system and manage, maintain, and operate data storage solution of SAN, NAS, FC Fabrics and Inter-site links.

We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about data storage management and infrastructure maintenance. If you have a strong background in SAN, NAS, and FC Fabrics, and experience working with storage replication technologies, we encourage you to apply for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and maintain data storage solutions of SAN, NAS, FC Fabrics and Inter-site links.
2. Plan, prepare, and execute technical tasks in the ITSM queues to resolve day-to-day BAU / Project Requests and Incidents.
3. Respond to and resolve alerts from the monitoring management system.

Requirements:
1. SAN - HPE XP7/XP8/Hitachi (VSP 5000), Primera/3PAR.
2. Brocade SAN Fabric.
3. Storage Replication technologies.
4. Storage failover/failback in Disaster Recovery operations.
5. Basic working knowledge of Windows and Red Hat Operating Systems and storage-related software & configuration parameters.
6. NAS - Dell PowerScale (formerly ISILON).
7. Basic working knowledge of High-Availability solution - Microsoft Cluster Service and Veritas InfoScale.
8. Scripting / automation experience.
9. Work with tools such as CyberArk (privileged access management), OMI suite (events/alerts management).
